About the Project

Key Points

This Mindful Movement Education Projects targets communities within the Shire of Leonora. With thanks to a community grant from the Shire, we’re able to provide

– Free evidence-based trauma-informed Mindful Movement Education (Professional Development Workshop aligned with Australian Curriculum Standards) to schools in the Shire

– Free Mindful Movement based Whole School Incursion at a school within the Shire

– Free Community Engagement class to connect the community, different ages and different backgrounds

Delayed due to COVID-19, we’re currently liaising with schools and communities in the regions to maximise this project. Please get in touch if you’d like to get involved. Email Emma@yogazeit.com.au

“To us, health is about so much more than simply not being sick. It’s about getting a balance between physical, mental, emotional, cultural and spiritual health. Health and healing are interwoven, which means that one can’t be separated from the other.”

Dr. Tamara Mackean. Waljen woman, Public Health Medicine Physician and Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine
