& WELLBEING PROGRAMS

Building healthy bodies and minds

Students participate in a fun and engaging 45min class of Yoga each week of the school term and are held before or after school hours.

Classes will be tailored PP – Year 2, Year 3 – 6, Year 7-9, Year 10 – 12 (or as per your needs). The classes are held on school site, either in the hall, on the oval, in a classroom or other open space.

The benefits of Yoga are widely accepted and research shows that yoga not only assists in neuro-muscular development, it also develops core strength and supports balance which are essential for good posture and correct physical alignment. Through Yoga students improve their mind-body connection, learning to lead a healthy lifestyle and encounter a sense of wellbeing.

All classes incorporate:

  • Breathing activities
  • Yoga Poses
  • Mindful Movement
  • Relaxation and Reflection

All YOGAZEIT instructors offering activities to children and adolescents are trained and certified in evidence based Yoga and Mindfulness suitable for the age group, hold a current Working with Children Check and are fully insured. Most of our Yoga Educators have a background in Education, Social Sciences or Health.

Classes start from $90 per class, depending on number of students, location etc.

We breathe, move, stretch, art'n'craft and relax. Focused on SuperHeroes this Yoga Workshop will foster mindfulness for growing bodies and minds with tools for life. Including Art and Craft.

Part of Project Making Mindful Movement Matter these 45min classes support young bodies and minds with tools to develop self-awareness, emotion-regulation and combat anxiety and provide a platform to destress.

TEENS YOGA and MINDFULNESS - Term 2

Part of the fully funded Project Making Mindful Movement Matter the 60min classes for Adolescents have a strong focus on Mindfulness and Meditation techniques supported by Yoga to strengthen and stretch growing bodies and minds.
